Roberto Cavalli Oud Edition by Roberto Cavalli is a Oriental fragrance for women. Roberto Cavalli Oud Edition was launched in 2013. The nose behind this fragrance is Louise Turner. Top notes are Saffron and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Leather and Orange Blossom; base notes are Incense, Agarwood (Oud), Amber and Vanilla.
Creator of this perfume Louise Turner explained why oud was the obvious choice for the luxury edition. Roberto Cavalli style is based on rich materials, bold prints and fine textures designed for people who are not afraid to be noticed and the scent of oud is just all that.
Louise Turner has decided to highlight the leathery facets of this material, mixing it with rare and rich ingredients. Leather theme is introduced in the upper notes by the use of precious saffron. It is placed together with fresh aroma of mandarin. Honey trail of orange blossom and bright white flowers are paired with a hint of leather, which is wrapped in soft tones of vanilla and amber. Incense note gives the composition a veil of mystery.
