Rayhaan’s Obsidian successfully bridges the gap between "Iris-Chic" and "Woody-Oud." The opening is remarkably airy, where the Iris provides a starchy, metallic freshness that feels incredibly modern. The transition into the Leather heart is seamless, creating a "Suede" effect that is both soft and commanding. What defines the dry-down is the Ambrette-Oud pairing; the Ambrette provides a nutty, musky warmth that tames the medicinal edges of the Oud, leaving a base of Sandalwood and Cedar that feels like expensive, polished timber.
