Maali were a color, it would be a soft, brushed gold. Launched as a standout Eau de Parfum in 2024, it is a fragrance of perfect equilibrium—balancing the indulgent sweetness of vanilla with a sharp, professional edge.
Assaf’s Maali (2024) is a fascinating study in "Spiced Minimalism." While many vanilla-based orientals lean into heavy, gourmand territory, Maali utilizes a Fresh Spicy top note to provide a structural lift. The middle movement is particularly impressive; the Aromatic facets provide a green, herbal counterpoint to the Powdery notes, creating a texture that feels "fuzzy" and radiant rather than thick or syrupy. The dry-down is a classic, high-performance blend of Amber and Musk, ensuring a persistent sillage that radiates warmth for hours.
